'Smokers are selfish individuals' as North Wales beaches to go smoke-free
National Trust Cymru has declared three popular beaches in North Wales to be 'smoke-free zones' in a bid to protect nature and reduce the risk of wildfires

The initiative is voluntary, with signs placed at each location urging visitors not to smoke.!             Is that just wishful thinking?

"Although the para[motor] pilot was operating within the law, it would be fair to say that they were operating with poor awareness of the hazard of flying in the approach lane of a busy fast-jet base.

Not sure they were. When I was training for my pilot's licence, the air maps all required advance warning to Valley ATC.

Upgrade for crumbling coastal path with stunning views of North Wales icons
Remedial work is now planned on a waterlogged section of the walking and cycling route

A popular coastal path with some of the most dramatic views in Wales is to be upgraded after falling into disrepair. Each year, tens of thousands of people walk or cycle the route along the banks of the Conwy Estuary.

In recent years the path has begun to degrade and cycling charity Sustrans worries this is starting to affect its usage. After heavy rain, it becomes almost impassable as huge puddles form on its uneven surface.
