Anwyl should have been told sort the west shore site before you put any other planning applications in.   I see they have the land up for sale £2-5 million.

It's a shame that there isn't a land banking tax on that site because Anwyl have got away with it for too long.    As it is I think that they'll have trouble seelling the land at that price.
Any local council that deals with this company should ensure that the company delivers what it has promised

Two days at sea for brand new Mercedes at Wales' famous 'can't park there' beach
It's not the first to be swamped this year - and it won't be the last

Like summer, the “silly season” has arrived early at an iconic drive-on beach in Gwynedd. Despite multiple warnings, Traeth y Greigddu (Black Rocks Sands) at Morfa Bychan has seen several vehicles engulfed by the sea this year already.

Protest blockades at popular Anglesey beach threaten traffic chaos for tourists
Two grandmothers and a village stalwart are leading the protests

A “moving blockade” of angry villagers is expected to disrupt traffic heading to one of the busiest beaches in Wales this weekend. Two grandmothers and a community stalwart are leading a protest over the gridlocks that regularly plague Newborough, Anglesey.

Village life often grinds to a halt as visitors head to iconic Traeth Llanddwyn and neighbouring Newborough Forest. The beach often features in top 10 lists and its iconic tidal island has an irresistibly romantic allure.

Jets put on a show for spotters on the Mach Loop

Plane spotters have been treated to yet more stunning scenes as U.S. warplanes were caught on camera zooming through the Mach Loop.

Photographer David Robertshaw also shot a British Typhoon as it roared through Snowdonia last week.      I wonder if the David Roberts is the same person as the forum's DaveR?

Crash in seaside resort closed coastal road
Drivers were urged to avoid the area

A crash closed a section of seafront road in Conwy this afternoon (Thursday, April 17)

North Wales Police asked drivers to avoid the area around Rhos Promenade in Rhos on Sea.

Yesterday I spoke to a neighbour who I hadn't seen for a few weeks and I found out that he was the cyclist who was hit by a car in Rhos.   He has suffered life changing injuries and said that the helmet he was wearing probably saved his life as his head was the first contact he made with the woman's car.
He had a £3K  carbon fibre e-bike that was totally destroyed and he has said that after this experience he will never ride a bike again, it is just too dangerous.     There is clear CCTV recordings of the crash which was the woman driver's fault but I'm not sure if she escaped with just a fine

Patch of sand on Welsh beach has a six figure price tag
The small slice of beach is on for the similar price to a flat or small house in parts of North Wales

A patch of sand on a North Wales beach is up for sale with a six figure price tag. The small piece of land is on Abersoch's Porth Mawr beach and offers are invited for over £100,000, the price of a flat or even a small house in parts of North Wales.

It is nestled between beach huts and the location had previously housed a wooden shack too. But this was damaged in storms and pulled down by the owner.
I don't suppose any locals will be bidding for that
