Iconic Pete's Eats in Llanberis to reopen this weekend and legendary item is staying on the menu
The cafe in Eryri National Park dates back to the 1970s

When we used to walk in the mountains it was always our tradition to go to Pete's Eats before the start of the walk.      A big breakfast and a "pint" of tea seemed a good idea at the time.      That was until I walked from Nant Peris to Elidir Fawr for the first time and that nearly finished me off.     Ever since that time I've carried the food in my rucksack and had a meal when we've got to the summit.
