The 'remarkable' labyrinth full of mythical creatures
Some people find it spellbinding but others complain of a ‘creepy vibe’

It sounds like an interesting place to visit

It's a horrible grey day today with very strong gusts of woind and heavy rain so I won't be exploring the area  today.      I've only just come back aftetr walking my dog and we both came back soaked.
Instead I'm going to watch a video about Robson Green looking at houses in Anglesey,  I have seen it before but am looking forward to seeing it again.
Two houses in particular are worth looking at,       Ynys Y Gored Goch which are the cottages on the Menai Straits between the two bridges.    The other and also my favourite is the one in the beautiful village of Moelfre.      I never get tired of doing walks in the village, but on a good day        ;D

Tellytubby visited Chirk Castle on Saturday and then went to see the Chirk aquaduct and viaduct.    There was a lovely display of Snowdrops in the castle grounds

Strange 'dragons' breath' coming from Eryri hills like 'phantoms passing underneath'
The curious phenomenon has left some people stumped for an explanation

Trust the Daily Post to put a lot of hype and gloss on this article !      It is a ventilation shaft for the Blaenau Ffestiniog to Llandudno railway but it can be seen on one of the best walks I have ever done.      The photo was taken on a walk before they made the Victorian ventilation shaft safe

Hello all.
We have been on Anglesey for a couple of days and did two interesting walks.
The first one starting at Ynys y Fydlyn and continuing around Carmel Head and the second one walking around the copper mountain trail at Mynydd Parys.
Here's a few photos.

That's two good walks Hollins and great photos too.      The sea arch on Ynys Y Fydlyn is worth seeing and the colours in Parrys Mountain are worth seeing too
It looks like the weather was good too so that's a bonus

Yes, thanks Hugo.
We booked some self catering accommodation a couple of days before when we saw the weather forecast was good.
The arch and that bay were quite beautiful especially in the sunshine.
I hope that you and Mrs H are both well.

You did the right thing taking advantage of the good weather forecast as prior to this last week the weather has been so unpredictable.        Anglesey is a lovely place to visit and my favourite areas are in the North and West of the island
We are both ok thanks but we are finding that old age doesn't come alone.      I hope that you and Mr H are well and that Mr H is still doing his action man bit.     I did enjoy reading about the places he's been to and what he did there

Entire 1km length of 'dangerous' boardwalk being torn down at 'beautiful' Anglesey gorge
Its replacement will have one crucial difference

The Dingle (Nant y Pandy) Nature Reserve at Llangefni is renowned as one of the best places on the island to spot red squirrels. Located just yards from the town’s busy High Street, it’s rich in wildlife with sculptures and picnic tables, while three wooden bridges cross the Afon Cefni.

‘Trump Mountain’ in Eryri sends shivers through North Wales
A rarely seen silhouette has been likened to the US president. In other forms, it appears as a child-snatching fairy

Some may call it Trump Mountain while others would say that it's a blot on the landscape

Fron Goch just outside Caernarfon is well worth a visit and the food in the cafe is delicious.    It's in a nice location just next to the Welsh Highland railway line
