Last night I was searching for something on BBC I player when I discovered a second series had started of "Designing the Hebrides".     For anyone interested in house designs or spectacular scenery then this is a must watch
The presenter Banjo Beale is a very camp Australian who lives in Tobermory on the beautiful island of Mull.
Our forum friend Mull who lives on the island is so lucky to be living there.    I know that the weather, the inconsiderate tourist who drive on the narrow lanes and the Ferry problems but the island way of life and the stunning countryside more than make up for them

There is a programme on TV tonight called Pilgramage through the Swiss and Austrian Alps and is on BBC 2 at 9.00 pm.    It's a three part series and is on again on Monday and Tuesday
I've had a glimpse of it on BBC 2 Iplayer and the scenery is breathtaking
It's a very interesting programme and it's more about the interaction between people of various faiths and beliefs.      There was one previous Pilgramage of the road through North Wales and that wasgood to watch too

North Wales women give captivating performance in Britain's Got Talent final
Han & Fran performed an Abba medley at glittering finale to hit TV series

It was really nice to watch and listen to their singing, good luck to them for the future

I've just been watching a series on BBC  I Player presented by Iolo Williams.        It's about four river valleys in Wales and I've seen the one about the Conwy Valley.     For anyone interested in nature,  it is definitely worth watching and the scenery is spectacular
The documentary starts at the mouth of the Conwy river and goes along the Conwy Valley until it reaches Llyn Conwy the source of the River Conwy.
I have been lucky enough to have walked along most of the places that appeared on the TV but I haven't been to Llyn Conwy so that must go on my bucket list
