On BBC Wales TV  Monday at 8.00 pm is a TV programme called Wales Home of the year.    It's a light hearted series where three judges pick out their preferred home.
Hollins took a lovely photo of an Arts and Crafts home when she did a walk starting from Llanfairfechan.     In Llanfairfechan is a whole estate of these houses which have been designed and built by the same architect and if I'm not mistaken one of the properties in The Close will be featured in next week's show.       I'm curious to see what they look like on the inside but they are certainly attractive from the outside

BBC One's political debate programme is coming to Llandudno next month.


BBC Question Time is scheduled to come to the town on November 9.

The topical debate programme features guests from the worlds of politics and the media who answer questions posed by members of the public.

Question Time presenter Fiona Bruce took over from long-serving host David Dimbleby.

Readers can apply to join the Question Time Audience. Successful applicants will be contacted on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before the programme.

Question Time audience members will be requested to come up with two questions to be considered for the programme.

A statement on 'Join the Question Time Audience' said: "It's important that as many applicants as possible get the chance to be part of a Question Time audience. If you have been in a QT audience within the past five years we are delighted that you want to do it all over again, but please give others a chance and don't apply this time round. If you have applied before but not been successful, we welcome your application."

This TV programme has now been moved to Friday at 7.30 on BBC Wales it should be worth watching

Earlier this year, filming took place in Llandudno for the four part series.

The drama tells the story of one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in British legal history.

Hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters and postmistresses were wrongly accused of theft, fraud and false accounting due to a defective IT system. Many of the wronged workers were prosecuted, some of whom were imprisoned for crimes they never committed, and their lives were irreparably ruined by the scandal.

BBC to axe 10 channels as households urged to act
The move has been brought forward and affected viewers will see a channel closed message

The change takes place on January 8 and will mainly impact those with older Freesat boxes and Sky customers. BBC channels on Freeview televisions are not affected by the change. You can get also get around the move, by upgrading to a HD set-top box.

North Wales became a filming location for movies and dramas this year

Do you ever get the feeling that your recognise a place featured in the film or television show you're watching?

They have been showing a few clips on TV about the Post Office scandal and that should be worth watching when it comes out in early January.    We drove down the promenade some time ago and Queen's Road in Craig Y Don was closed to traffic but that was when some of the scenes were being filmed for the show

We watched the first episode last night and it was quite gripping to watch, just seeing the injustice that happened to so many people made us feel quite angry and emotional too.   Nothing will compensate those victims for what they have been put through  and the scars will remain with them for ever.   Episode 2 is on tonight at 9.00 pm on ITV

I wonder how long it will be before they reveal that the lady running the Post Office at the time was awarded a CBE in 2019 and was given a
 very big bonus after what she inflicted on these poor people.

That's typical Mull.     I must admit that I enjoyed watching the show but it did get me very angry and emotional at the way those people were treated by the Post Office and it's not over yet
I'll watch tonight's episode and try to not get too worked up about it all and will stick to a cup of tea instead of a pint or two instead

There was an interview with the real Mr Bates on ITV this morning and he said that the Post Office/ Government were delaying payment for the 555 and added that 50 or 60 of those people had already died without receiving compensation or clearing their own name

When Mrs H and I started watching the series she remembered the lady in the Craig Y Don wool shop from the time she went in to the shop to buy some wool some years ago.    She said that the woman had an interest in art and that the TV character was  portrayed correctly.
The scenery in the mountains in the first episode is as beautiful as I remember and I must have gone past that cottage at some time but cannot remember where exactly it is located.   It was in a stunning location though
