No probs Tosh. Yorkie did the picking !!!  I typed the copy out in a rush, did a spell check and posted. The word form is/was a word so didn't register.

Can't see the fireworks going ahead in this wind-- we even had thunder and lightening earlier.

The number on the advert was engaged all afternoon!

Word is the fireworks display is still going ahead, although I don't know who would want to stand outside to watch it in this weather.  Should be great for anyone with a sea view room in the Esplanade though.

Best place is in front of the hotels, you get the bang, the thump in your diaphragm, then the echo off the hotels.
It's like getting more for your money but it's free anyway.
Enjoy if it happens.

Apparantly the Firework Display is still going ahead - a damp squib in this weather I should think :)  I for one won't be venturing out

Well we watched it from our bedroom window in C-y-D and it was excellent.  D)

Many congratulations to Llandudno Town Council.

For the record, it ended at 7.49pm.

Per minute, that is the most the Council spend on any one event!   ;D

Glad it all went ahead-- they got a decent slot in between the rain. Didn't venture out, but felt the vibrations in the back of the house!

For anyone interested, I am led to understand that the Llandudno Firework display was put on at a cost of £27,000.  I can think of plenty of other ways this could have been spent for the benefit of the Town.    >>>
