I imagine the security software will prevent it being uploaded on another device.

I believe there may be ways to get round that problem, though.

Has anyone any experience of using HOOTSUITE?  If so any comments?    ZXZ

Would probably be useful if you had several Twitter accounts to manage, but not a lot of use for Joe Public.

Thanks, Dave, I did not think much of it when it was suggested to me, which is why I asked the question.

I am now looking for an Ap for my iPad which will give me real time information on the UK Stock Market without me having to trade through them.  All I can seem to find are US based.  Thought u might be able to point me in the right direction.

I use the ADVFN app, think there is a delay but probably you won't get real time prices for free.

Why would anyone want more than one Twitter account?

Quite frankly I have yet to understand Twitter, it seems to be just a load of disjointed messages interspersed with signs and symbols which mean nothing.  I'd rather read a good text book on higher calculus.

Had a look at ADFN but not interested in all the registration business.  I'm happy with my choice not particularly wanting to enter into a competition as to which is best.    ;)

I've not found an App better than ADVFN, to be honest.  ;)

It looks good but maybe a bit too sophisticated for my purpose.   As I am only a rank amateur investor and someone who cannot be measured against the Bulls and the Bears of Paternoster Square I think the easier the system I use the better for me.  Some of the apps available are just crammed with information and statistics that I don't want or need.  I only wish to watch the movement, particularly on the days that results are announced, as there can be dramatic changes in a few minutes when one can capitalise on any opportunity to make a swift profit.

....which is why I can't fault ADVFN.

I trade several shares regularly, (a little too regularly) and ADVFN has graphs and charts that react instantly to any news or market moves.   By the minute, hour, month and year.
It is addictive to anyone who needs instantaneous price updates.
