Ah; the iPad allows much better font enlargement than a laptop. Owing to its superior resolution, a mere finger and thumb allow the user to enlarge the entire screen and content.
As Shakespeare said, "But there lies the rub!" Or similar words!
Adjusting the font is easy enough but one then sacrifices the total visible area of the document, including illustrations, and this then involves a lot of finger work to look at all parts of the page. The enlargement facility of the ipad is great but, I think, only for certain uses.
