"Dear resident,
I am writing to update regarding Conwy County Borough Council's plan to introduce a one-way system along part of Rhos-on-Sea Promenade.
Yesterday the council's Planning Committee granted planning permission to the coastal defence improvements plans but the one-way system element of the proposals is subject to a statutory Traffic Regulation Order, which requires further public consultation.
Any person may object to a Traffic Regulation Order and the local authority is obliged to consider objections before deciding whether or not to proceed so the battle is not over yet!
The Traffic Regulation Order will be advertised on the council’s website in due course. Notices will also be published in the local press and a hard copy will be posted on the promenade giving 28 calendar days for objections to be made.
I will issue a further update as soon as the order is advertised but in the meantime please encourage as many people as possible to back our campaign by signing the petition here:

I trust that this update is helpful."
