Cycling around the Orme is a pretty formidable task in its own right.

It's not too bad except for the climb past the lighthouse, but then it's all downhill from there.

Just remember that it is ONE WAY Traffic from the North Shore end.   You do get idiots in cars coming the wrong way.   ^*^0 ^*^0 ^*^0

You can borrow my mountain bike for a few weeks if you want Fester, I'm not using it because i've just bought a fancy racing bike to do the Cymru Etape on later in the year.  It's a genuine offer, if you like cycling then you can buy a bike at a later date! Jack.

Hi Fester, having done quite a bit of cycling in my time, I would suggest that you try cycling around the area before tackling the Marine Drive, the experience might put you off until you  get your cycling legs, it's not an easy ride.   ££$
