Ah, that is a different matter.  I think he had a Yorkshire accent, Lincolnshire is different altogether in my opinion.   ZXZ

Just seen the programme and enjoyed it. Guy Martin is from Lincolnshire so I suppose that's where his accent is from.

Guy has also lived all over the place including Ireland where he joined Team Racing.  But, as everyone says, he has an accent, probably from Lincolnshire.   

I'm half Dutch and half Yorkshire (Mum had an accent) so how is it I finish up with a London accent when I have only spent 12 years of my life in the Smoke?   In fact the one place I have spent a third of my  life is North Wales.   The rest has been spent in Scotland, the Midlands, West Country, Home Counties etc. with only a few years in each.  So really it doesn't matter where one was born or lived to determine one's accent.   $angry2$

           I've just watched the first programme in a very interesting new TV series on BBC 1 Wales tonight at 1735, called "Iolo's Welsh Seas".
           It showed the windfarms on the Constable Bank, lobster pot fishing off the Orme, and diving on the wreck of HMS "Conway" in the Swellies between the bridges in the Menai Straits and some great aerial views of St. Cwyfan's Church and Llanddwyn Island. If you missed it and want to see it I imagine you will be able to catch it on I-player.

Anyone know why it was advertised all over the place as Llandudno and appeared as Falmouth?? Next week in TV Choice it says it is Llandudno, but it said that this week.
Anyone for a swim? :o

I've taped it but don't need to watch it now if Llandudno is not on it.    I'll delete it and tape next weeks episode and keep my fingers crossed.

Spoke to a neighbour this morning and he says that it was advertised in the Radio Times as Falmouth and Llandudno is next week. At the end of last night's prog. it said that next week is from somewhere else entirely. Think I'll bang my head on a wall !
