Llandudno on the telly

(1/6) > >>

martin:
There is a programme on Channel 4 this evening about the Victorian past of Llandudno called "How Britain worked", according to the write up it is about returning the resort to it's former Victorian glory.  Looks well worth a look.

Fester:
It was an excellent programme, I enjoyed it immensely.

The hard graft involved by the guys involved illustrates what is required to keep Llandudno's Victorian attractions open and viable.

Long may it continue.  $walesflag$

Ian:
I was a tad disappointed that we didn't see Llandudno's Town band playing and that we didn't see a bit more on trams.  Also, it might have been televisual, but the focus on the helter skelter implied it was on the prom throughout the season. The stuff on the pier was excellent, though.  All we now need is for Wrex to contact the produers to get them to do a segment on Llandudno and Christmas lighting.  WWW WWW WWW

Merddin Emrys:
We enjoyed it very much, must be great publicity for Llandudno  $good$

Nemesis:
An excellent prog., but our thoughts were like Ian's-- hope people don't think that the mini fairground is a permanent thing. Mostyn Estates would throw a fit !
