Rail ticket London 1st class forsale

I've just booked a rail ticket to London and like a pillock booked the wrong dates so I have a return ticket from Llandudno Junction to London Euston the return ticket is upgraded to 1st class I will accept £70 Ono. The details are Wednesday 24th Oct Llandudno Junction to London Euston 14:43 return Sunday 28th Oct 17:08 this is the 1st class trip both have booked seats. I will split the tickets if your interested.

I thought rail tickets were non transferable, would you not be better off trying to change the booking for the dates you require?

Booked it through Virgin they won't give a refund even though I told them about it minutes after I booked it. I'm not sure about the transfer I can see why someone else can't use it?

In these days of internet buying, how on earth would any train company know who has bought a ticket and for whom ? What if I buy tickets for 6 friends travelling, which ticket is whose ?
