After having had the pleasure of knowing David for over 30 years, Stan, it was interesting to hear about David’s life before he actually came to Llandudno.

RIP, David.

I too thought I knew him reasonably well, but there was quite a bit revealed that I obviously did not know about him. That in fact is something which I have experienced at other people's funerals when "life history" is related.

I first met David when I worked in the Abergele branch of Barclays in the early 1970s and he used to visit from time to time to have a 'chat' and leave the Woolwich's latest interest rates and leaflets. Invariably it was almost a laugh a minute even then.

His former "Greeter" at Asda,  Ken, made a very entertaining tribute about their time together.

"Rest in peace", David.

Sorry Ken, I meant to say "His former fellow 'Greeter' at Asda ..."
