Eddie Owen, formerly of 51 Alexander Road, long time treasurer of the RAFA club, was part of llandudno anglers club also worked for British Rail for many years and previously worked at Chester engineering in colwyn bay.
 Past away 6th June 2012, funeral 20th june at the Presbyterian church chapel street 1pm

Yes, nice guy Eddie.  He was welfare officer for the RAFA for years.  Was in the Loco at the Junction, left BR for some time and then rejoined as a conductor.  RIP

Yes he joined the railway in 1949 as a fireman on the steam trains, was based in the junction and also Birmingham. Went for his national service in the RAF then came back to the railway. he left in the 60's to go and work in Chester engineering as head salesman then returned to the railway in the mid seventy's and carried on till retirement. He was the treasurer in Rafa club and welfare for many many years.
    May I ask how you know him?
