I liked this:

Immigration..We will replace employees of the Border Force with GP receptionists. This will dramatically reduce the number of people getting in.

For some light hearted reading:
Monster Raving Loony party manifesto

Count Binface Manifesto

I cannot make up my mind, both make excellent points, and compared to the alternatives, I will sleep on it.

Fourth Tory official reportedly investigated over bets

If I was a betting man then I'd put some money on there being more than four

More people investigated over election bet claims, in fact it did say on the news that one person had placed multiple bets on the date of the election.       Let's hope that all will be revealed before the 4th July 2024

I never bothered watching the live debate on TV this week between Sunak and Starmer and after seeing clips of the debate I'm glad that I didn't.
It's the same old thing, they were both like kids arguing in the playground.       Why didn't the producers of the show switch off the mic of the oponent when it was the other one's turn to speak?       That way they could get their policy across so that the viewers would .be able to understand what was being said
As it was the only thing that made any sense was a remark by a member of the audience who said "are these two the best that we can offer to lead this great country of ours? "    That said it all

We now know the 32 MPs who are representing the nation in Westminster. In Wales Labour has taken 27 seats of the total 32 seats with Plaid Cymru winning four seats and the Liberal Democrats taking a seat.

North Wales will now be represented by six Labour MPs and two from Plaid Cymru. Here is the list of eight MPs - with six new faces off to Westminster.

Sir Keir Starmer's new cabinet will meet for the first time on Saturday - the first full day of Labour being in power.
Rachel Reeves is the UK's first female chancellor, while Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner is also among a record 11 women in the team of 25.

Sir Keir appointed his cabinet on Friday after Labour's landslide election win, and in his first speech as prime minister said the work of change "begins immediately".
