In the last few weeks there has been builders on site, that house is fine again now...

BUT... there has been no bollards placed outside, so I fear the same fate will befall the house in future winters.

Just don't sit on that seat.  $good$

Don't sit on it In winter times anyway. In summer it is that very same seat  that saves so many SOS calls by allowing some people, who think they can save themselves the tram fare by walking up the Orme, somewhere to rest and recover for a while.

There is a much better balcony, in the immediate vicinity, that affords a better view..eh Medz?  ;) ;)

A chilled beer or wine is always available for you and Mrs Fester anytime you care to share the view.

Cheers Mr and Mrs Medz...

I walked up past that very balcony at 10.15 tonight...it looked blissful, and I turned to look into the bay... and the lights from the prom reflected on the sea.
I looked up again at said balcony with envious eyes...  that view is worth a million.

Then I took a deep breath, and trudged on up the hill.

The novelty will never wear off my friend.

Jack, in the top postcard that you posted above, the brick circular edifice resembling a small chimney in the centre of the pic was Vivian's mineshaft.

You can still see it today at the Great Orme Copper Mines.
