When I passed today I asked the Gent on the Little Newsagents in the Victorian Centre and he said that Badgers had gone in to liquidation yesterday (Monday) now that's going to hurt the coffers for the Vic centre

The name of a firm of insolvency practitioners was mentioned in the front door when I passed at lunchtime.

So they must have seen it coming. They bought into the Queen Vic and secured a manager position with Starbucks. The problem with that is unless it is done properly they can still be awarded an IPO. An insolvency Payment Order. This can be issued by the official receiver if he decides you have a reasonable income to live on. The queen vic and a manager position with Starbucks will suffice. The Vic is owned by marstons to do not encourage their tenants to register as limited company's . Let's hope they have done their homework.

Just googled Badgers tearooms,third thing on the page was salmonella,i think this was the problem,how long ago was that.

We had visitors last weekend, thought I would take them to the Snooze, then Taverna, very surprised to find the "New" bar closed.                     not the best way to run a business .

Considering the Parade was sold back in February, it would appear the owner is the one snoozing..
