Hollins,  in answer to your question, the Oatcake shop is indeed on Upper Mostyn Street.

It is on the opposite side to where you were in the 121,  it is between the Chess dress shop, and the door to the Conservative Club.   I've only seen it open once though.

Thanks Fester. Don't know how we missed it. We walked up and down both sides and I remember seeing the Chess shop.
Oh dear!

The Oatcake Shop hasn't got any signage outside so it's easy to miss, especially when it's closed.

She has been open, but the last I saw was that she had had an equipment failure. Haven't been past since.

We tried the Cafe 121 for a change today ...
Lovely place to sit and watch the world go by from the huge windows. Saw the council workmen busy planting masses of wallflowers on the roundabout.

This looks like bliss! Even the newspapers the fish is on looks posh. More used to sitting outside on a wall as I eat my fish 'n chips but could definitely upgrade here! :P

The Baytree Hotel have had excellent restaurant facility since they opened after refurbishment and now they have a new adventurous chef who knows his stuff too. They showed me the proposed Xmas season menu today and it's not your bog standard fare. Worth popping in and taking a look because it's excellent value. The bar area is very smart and offers wonderful views across the bay and they serve coffee and cake during the day.

What's the name of the cafe in Llandudno in town centre, not on a corner and on the same side as M&S, Smiths, KFC . It's long and narrow when you get inside and has tables along both walls. They do a Shoppers Special fish n chips n it's lovely  $dins$

Dave, I have passed your comments onto Claire, manager of the Baytree,. She was very pleased you liked everything.
