The new cafe/restaurant in the Merrymoon shop is called One Two One. It's very close to opening now, maybe tomorrow?

It is all ready this morning-- ice cream cart outside and plants on tables. Credit where it is due-- they have worked non-stop these last few days.

I visited new cafe with Mr Fester this afternoon. It looks very good, nicely fitted out, smart staff, good quality food & drink. Very busy too, every table taken. Well worth a visit.

We intended to stop by but the place was full, and every table occupied.   :D

Will give it try Tuesday afternoon and see what's what!    ZXZ

Yes, as Dave Says, the One Two One Cafe deserves credit, it was very well presented indeed,  the drinks were excellent and a very reasonable price too.

The added benefit is the view across the main roundabout, with clock and flowers to see!

Plus today afforded us a great vista for people-watching!  ;)

I think DaveR and Fester should take over the old Hoosons corner shop and open their own cafe, any suggestions for the name.Mine would be The Old Mans corner.

Based on age and reputation, I think that honour should be mine!    :rage:
And I can also tell the difference between Columbian and Nescafe!    :P
But I am sure the Welcome to you at 121 or any other hostelry will be just as warm!   :D

Decided to give 121 a try this afternoon but found it impossible to park, even with my Blue Badge!   Went past and the cafe was very busy so I don't think we would have found a seat.   Will have to try again either much earlier or later in the day.    ZXZ

A good way to find out what an establishment is like, is to use Trip Advisor beforehand.  $dins$
