Not been enough reviews on here for a while.... but its time for a new one.
Tonight, Mr and Mrs Fester decided to pop in for a meal in a place we have been before, and beore it was OK... .... but NOW there has been a big change.
We were drawn to a poster in the window of
PARS RESTAURANT. ''Eat all you can buffet .... £11.50''
My first reaction, was OK, might be worth a try .... but we didn't expect much for £11.50
It is not a curry house, it is not an Indian.... it is Iranian / Persian cuisine.... and I must say, its absolutely 1st class.
Surely It won't last ... offers as good as this never do, in my experience. ¢¢## ¢¢##
In a nutshell, you CANNOT eat better than this for that price.
There is a buffet of silver salvers and servers, and as you lift off each lid, the different starters and main courses tempt you with their superb spices, but the quality of the meat and ingredients is obvious to the eye.
When it says Lamb Tagine, it means LAMB. Too often restaurants are tempted to substitute beef for lamb... but not at PARS.
There are several Lamb dishes, numerous chicken dishes, rices, vegetarian options etc.... and each one is excellent.
The owner came out to speak with us after our meal, and he is planning to add a fish course too!
A very nice guy who has owned businesses in Llandudno for many, many years...
We eat out very often in Llandudno, and often find good value ... but now it will be hard to avoid making this our preferred choice.
Basically, I can't fault it.
I have visited and worked in India, and although this is Persian, I know that this food is way above what I have eaten in this or other countries.
Good luck to them .... I can see then being incredibly busy, too busy for me to get a table, very soon.
For £11.50, eat all you want .... how can you go wrong?
