;) On Jason Weymans blog he has found an article on DFS opening in Llandudno in November,so they should be on site very soon. Z**
Sofa retailer DFS has agreed to open 35,000 sq ft of new stores at two retail parks owned by the Hercules Unit Trust, managed by Schroders and advised by British Land.

DFS will open a 20,000 sq ft store at Valentine Retail Park in Lincoln and a 15,000 sq ft store at Mostyn Champneys Retail Park in Llandudno, North Wales. Both shops will open in late November.

Jon Massey, chief operating officer at DFS, said: “Both retail parks trade well, serve strong catchments, and are well managed.  Consequently, they provide us with a great platform from which to grow the DFS brand in their respective regions.”

Cushman Wakefield and Morgan Williams acted for British Land in Llandudno, and Morgan Williams and Harvey Spack Field represented British Land in Lincoln.  BNP Paribas acted for DFS.

I saw the review on No1 Bistro I've past it many times but have never seen it open, when does it open? Shame to miss out on all that passing tram trade. I love the food in The Cottage Loaf chips are brill, home made and massive. I also love the food in The Castle View bit more expensive than other pubs but they must have a really good chef everything on the menu is excellent and the puds I'd sell an arm for.

The Burgers in the Castle View are very good and you can sit outside with a great view over to Conwy Castle.

A contributor to Oscar mentions the possibility of Waitrose coming to town. Has anyone heard any whispers related to this?

It would be great but I'm struggling to think of suitable vacant premises for them?

I believe that the recently opened Toppolinos Pizza Restaurant in Upper Mostyn Street has already changed hands and is now in the capable hands of Adriana, formerly of Momma Rosas in Craig Y Don.  $good$

Dominos Pizza are still keen to open in Llandudno, I had an email from them asking for potential locations. Their requirements are:

Frontage - 15ft (5.5m) minimum
Depth - 60ft (20m) minimum
Area - 1,000 sq. ft. - 1,200 sq. ft. (93 - 112 m sq.), which can be over two floors - Minimum requirement = 800 sq. ft. on the ground floor
High visibility
Hot Food Takeaway usage (A5)  (or possibility of change of use)
Potential access to Students
Family neighbourhoods
Parking
