That's a shame, I was looking forward to trying it!

Work at the Washington seems to be going on at a snail's pace. It's been 2 years since Planning Permission was granted!

Every year many of these businesses in Upper Mostyn St turn into something else, a poor value for money or poor quality offer makes it inevitable.
Only businesses like Home Cooking or The Seahorse (round the corner) get it right.  So they survive and thrive.
One that may yet return is The Mediterranean, which I had ignored for years and was just getting to really like, when it closed!

The weather was atrocious on the prom at Colwyn Bay but we were glad to pop in to The Toad and have a nice warm welcome there.
We had the stir fried chicken in ginger, garlic & sweet chilli sauce, served with wild rice and hand cut chips off the £10.00 for two lunch time menu and it was very tasty indeed.

It's called 'age' Bri,  and the inability to process alcohol as efficiently as we did as younger men, (if I can remember that far back)

I well recall going boozing straight after playing football or training, maybe 5 nights a week,  never had a problem getting to work the next day.   I couldn't dream of it now.
I'm actually quite glad about that to be honest.
