I don't know if I'm missing something here, but I cant see how a shop that only sells one very niche product can possibly do well?

I agree there Dave, didn't want to malign her, but it is also the wrong end of the season to be embarking on raking any money back into a business which I would think could rely heavily on tourism. This Bank Holiday is the last of the year.

She’s certainly got bucket full of enthusiasm, I just hope she has the business acumen to go with it.   ££$

Food, glorious food!
Hot sausage and mustard!
While we're in the mood --
Cold jelly and custard!
Peas, pudding and saveloys!
What next is the question?
Rich gentlemen have it, boys --
In-di-gestion!

Food, glorious food!
We're anxious to try it.
Three banquets a day --
Our favourite diet!

Just picture a great big steak --
Fried, roasted or stewed.
Oh, food,
Wonderful food,
Marvellous food,
Glorious food.

Pease pudding, sometimes known as pease pottage or pease porridge, is a term of British origin regarding a savoury pudding dish made of boiled legumes, which mainly consists of split yellow or Carlin peas, water, salt, and spices, often cooked with a bacon or ham joint.

Fascinating.  Didn't know that.

Thanks B.B. I see there are now sacks of flour or something similar stacked in there. Let us hope that she finally gets the place open before the winter lull sets in. ££$
