All BHS stores - including those in Llandudno and Wrexham - will disappear from UK high streets by next month.

Administrators Duff & Phelps have already announced the closure of 52 UK stores - with some shutting today and others next Saturday.
Now Sky News is reporting that administrators will formally announce on Monday the remaining 114 BHS shops will cease trading on August 20.

However many will close their doors for the last time before that date.

Their closure will directly affect more than 5,000 shopworkers including more than 100 at the stores in Llandudno and Wrexham.
The news has been expected since efforts to find a buyer for the whole of BHS fell apart in early June, six weeks after the chain collapsed into administration.    refDP

If you've been shopping at IKEA in the past week you may want to check your bank account.
The retail giant has confirmed a series of customers have been charged twice for their purchases.
The mix-up was due to a computer glitch at the Swedish furniture store on Thursday, which saw a series of customers being double-charged.

Supermarkets recall yoghurts over rubber contamination fears.
Shoppers in North Wales are being asked to send back some yoghurts over fears they contain rubber.

Sainsbury's, ASDA, the Co-op, Tesco and Waitrose all are taking part in the recall of products made by Yeo Valley.
Own brand yoghurts as well as Collective Dairy packs are affected by the notice issued by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) notice.
The FSA said the products "may contain small pieces of rubber".
Officials added: "If you have bought any of the above products, do not eat them.
"Instead, follow the advice on the point-of-sale notices."

Excellent article Tom  :D Are you going to do another article on the decision to move the Post Office to W H Smith following their consultation? I heard today the relocation is to go ahead.

I write stories on Conwy issues sporadically depending on staffing levels.

The post office move was mentioned in the Post but the story wasn't uploaded to the website sadly.

Opening date of Primark Llandudno announced.

Primark has confirmed it is opening a store in Llandudno.

A spokeswoman today couldn't confirm the exact location but said the shop would open in Autumn next year.

The Daily Post has asked for more details about the exciting venture including whether it would be in the BHS shop premises on Parc Llandudno and how many jobs would be created.

Keen shoppers have been pleading for Primark to come to north west Wales for years.

Probably due to the building of the new extended first floor.

Mrs H. pointed out that although good for bringing shoppers to Llandudno, it could have an adverse effect on other businesses. ?
