Hello all, lived localy since I was 10 in 1990. I have lived in Llandudno, Rhos on Sea and Colwyn Bay :)

Love the area even if I am not a native, I have lived here longer than my birthplace so class this as home. I pretty much spent my childhood on the orme/pier/prom/oval and have worked localy all my working life. Love DaveR's pictures and all the ones posted on Llandudnos facebook page.

I hope to sto you all on this forum.

Rob

My wife and I are spending 7 days holiday in Llandudno from the 3rd to the 10th August. We would like to know what events and entertainment there are in the town. We would love to make some friends with people in Llandudno through this post and meet up when we come to Llandudno I hope that we do find friends that we can meet up with. $thanx$

Though I left Llandudno in 1964 to join the navy with Eddie Jones, I love my town. Eddie lives in the midlands and I live down south but it goes to show how many forums are about your home town? I know lots of Llandudno boys joined not only the navy but the forces in general past and present and I believe we have a proud heritage. There are lots of people I would like to ask about, but not sure if I can do it on this forum?J

Tony, since you mentioned this forum to me I have logged on most days in the last twelve months and I have contacted four people on the forum that I knew at school and worked with on the beach before I joined the Navy, and then  I have worked out a few more by their user names, so ask away matey. It's a great forum for info about the old place. I don't know if anywhere else has one as good. !!

Hi. Have just joined this forum. I don't live in Wales yet but my wife & I do have a property close to Llandudno where we spend as much time as possible throughout the Year. I hope to retire soon so that we can make the move permanent. We have holidayed in Llandudno and the surrounding area for the last 30 years or so. Can't get enough of it really. Looking forward to reading some good post's on here
