Llandudno & Colwyn Bay History Society
<br /><br /><p>November's talk will be about the disaster that occurred off the Great Orme, Llandudno in June 1939 when the new submarine HMS Thetis failed to surface after her first diving trial. Only four of the 103 men on board succeeded in escaping.</p>
