I was watching the BBC news this morning and they were talking about the homeless people living in the UK. Apparently the Government has pledged to reduce the number of homeless people over the next few years. In actual fact it was quite upsetting seeing rows and rows of rough sleepers on the streets in small tents
Homelessness: Number of rough sleepers up by a quarter in ...There's no single UK figure, but latest data shows a severe crisis: over 380,000 people were homeless in England alone (including 175k children) in late 2025, with rough sleeping hitting 4,667 in Autumn 2024. Scotland had 34,067 households experiencing homelessness in 2024-25, while Wales reported around 121 rough sleepers in early 2024, highlighting huge numbers in temporary shelter and hidden homelessness.
I wonder if they have any statistics for the homeless Asylum seekers?
