Charlie Watts, Rolling Stones drummer, has died aged 80.

It seems like the end of an era when someone like Charlie Watts dies. All the people in the groups that you grew up with seemed to be immortal and his death is unexpected. At the age of 80 I suppose he has done well, in view of the Stones' lifestyle especially. He was the quiet one in the group and he didn't get any scandal due to outrageous behaviour. A friend and I often wonder how Keith Richards has survived.
