who remembers how deadly the 3 lane mochdre stretch was at night  absolutely lethal lol!!!!

I remember being with a mate in a Railton saloon trying to achieve 100 mph before getting to Mochdr e, I looked back to see a shower of sparks flying out of the exhaust, he didn’t quite achieve it 🏎

The centre lane was called coroner's corridor by the police

It was one of the earliest examples of road layout in this area. To my knowledge it was there around 1940
