Post by: spotty dog on June 12, 2017, 10:23:15 am
Does anyone remember Martini open  at Conwy 1970 when Dr Davies sheep came down off Conwy mountain to graze they had to pay him I think to remove them, he claimed it was common land and had grazing rights .Is this true and if so when  ccbc sold the course did they remove said rights

I don't remember that but I can remember working on the scoreboard for a few days.

A certain Australian broke the course record and I decided to chalk it up on the 'Stop Press' section.

Shortly after, a famous Australian golfer came along and duly informed me that there was no 'P' in his surname of Thomson.
