Title: VE Day - the Celestial City

 $walesflag$ Adrian Hughes sent me this photo (courtesy of Terry Donovan) asking if I recognised anyone. I know Terry and Ernie Owen are there - anyone else? What about you Hugo?

That's a nice photo Mike and I've had a good look at each person and can't remember anyone in the photo.   Then I read the caption and realised that I wouldn't be on it.
Dad didn't come home from the war until after VE Day and he celebrated then, afterwards I came along 9 months later!
I remember the Donavons as they lived at No 36 and Sylvia may have been on the photo but I can't recognise her.     I remember the Council making a path through their garden so we could all have a short cut to the shops, the Council also took a chunk out of my Uncle's garden too but it did save a lot of time for us.
