I have two ropes as per the photograph, each is about 1" in diameter, EXTREMLEY strong (you could more the Waverley, or for that matter, the QE2 with them) that are 'surplus to requirements' and rather than take them to the recycling centre, if anyone can use them, £10 for the two for a donation to Macmillan Nurses.
They would make incredible tow ropes for off-roading....
