The snoopers' charter allows ISPs to spy on your internet traffic. If you don't like that, use the guide to stop them doing it.

I found it by accident while searching information about Bleriot, Hugo´s recent picture of a plane on Llandudno beach made me think there should be more details, and that´s when I came across the NWWN page, but nothing further, previously I found that after his famous flight, he started manufacturing planes, so I suspect it was one of his planes, and not the man himself.

The collection holds over eight million historic Welsh records, in what will, in time, become the most comprehensive collection of its type available online.

The records span 456 years, dating from 1538 all the way up to 1994 and detail baptisms, banns (the public announcement of an impending marriage), marriages and burials.

Post by: SteveH on January 21, 2021, 10:51:44 AM: Britain from Above was a four year project aimed at conserving 95,000 of the oldest and most valuable photographs in the Aerofilms collection, those dating from 1919 to 1953. Once conserved, the images were scanned into digital format and made available on this website for the public to see. This project was made possible due to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and support from The Foyle Foundation and other donors. There are now over 95,000 images on the website. The website provides the opportunity to share and record your memories and knowledge about the places shown in the collection.

One of the aims of the project was to ensure that as wide a range of people as possible could learn about Aerofilms and to engage with the images. This was done by working with groups in local communities, using the images of their local area as inspiration for a number of projects. Take a look at the legacy left by the project in the highlights below.
