Oscar is reporting this am that Olwen (the donkey lady) died on Monday.

I moved your post here, Stan, as Olwen is so well known in the town. I believe her family have run donkey rides along the beach since 1879.

That's right Dave. They have been running them for donkeys' years.

I am Donkey
 
If I was born with longer legs
Or shorter ears, I know,
I could have been a "Racing Horse"
Or maybe "Best in Show"


But I was born with big long ears
My legs, though short, are sound
And although they're not quite as long
They keep me off the ground!


My back is stout, my voice is loud
And I learn really quick
If you just bring me carrots
And leave at home the stick


So overall I do alright
I don't care what you say....
I like me just the way I am
I'm Donkey, Hear me Bray!!!!!
