Emlyn Jones: Bomb disposal officer who blew up a Nazi 'super gun' and was later selected for the 1953 Everest team. Obituary reads a  boys own adventure. Born Llandudno 1915.

Quite a detailed obit in today's Daily Telegraph including a mention of Llandudno.
