I know it is a long shot, but has anyone any records of Wilson Family Members descended from William Wilson, born 1747, who was a Master Printer from Whitehaven in Cumbria?
Many of the Family (he had 20 children) remained in the area, others moved to Yorkshire, Sheffield, Rotherham, and some to the Greater London area. Two went to South Africa.
I have a good Family Tree but some of the Branches are looking somewhat bare.
