Title: Help Wanted - Paid Accomodation

Dear all on The Forum...

Since January I have been undergoing extension work to my house... and its been pretty grim.
I have been badly let down over this, and the project is very late, and miles over budget.

But now, I have recruited a new guy, who along with his colleague, are willing to step in and work full time on my house until its finished.
However he is from Chester and it involves him and his colleague staying in Llandudno (or close by) for about 4 to 6 weeks.
July / August is the worst possible time to get lodgings fixed up, and I have been knocked back by the first few B&B's that I have approached.

So here goes nothing! Does anyone know of a B&B, or a Flat, or a house to rent, a house to share...or even a caravan,  which I could rent for a 4 to 6 week period from approx July 12th?  Obviously I'm looking for a really reasonable rate.  Its all additional cost to me.

I will personally vouch for these lads by the way.

Fester, I recently managed to book an aunt into a single room at the Iris Hotel (next to the Imperial Hotel) for £27 per night B&B for a fortnight.

If you are looking for a twin room for 4-6 weeks then you may manage to do even better.

Thanks Bri ... appreciated ... but there are two of them and the budget doesn't stretch to £54 a night ...  The search goes on.

If the weather holds out, a tent in the garden may be the best option.

Fester, I was thinking you may have secured a better price for two over a longer period.

Have you tried the Alex or the hotel next door to the St Georges?

They may charge less,

Thanks Ang, I know Noleen well,  they looked after my Dad there last year...  I went to her first!

But they were fully booked, and a bit more than my builders could afford anyway ... I think I've sorted it now anyway.
