Can anyone point me in a direction to obtain information / pictures of the History of the Llandudno Carnival Queens please?
Last year, I attended a very interesting presentation by Mrs Barbara Lawson-Reay in Llandudno Town Hall for the Llandudno and Colwyn Bay History Society on this very subject.

Waffagolf, I suspect that the Carnival Queens stemmed from the older Rose Queens, which in turn probably came into being from the ancient Celtic May Day celebration.
