Title: Joey Jones
Post by: Hugo on July 22, 2025, 05:28:38 pm
It was so sad to hear of the death of Joey who died today aged 70.   Joey hadn't been in poor health for a few years but it is always sad to hear of the death of a nice person that you have known all your life
My brother Bryn went to Wrexham recently with Joey's brother Frankie and Mickey Thomas to see Joey and they all had a good catch up
RIP  Joey

Jones a 'fierce competitor and loveable character'     He certainly was a great character and I remember when he scored his first goal for Liverpool FC  he ran the whole length of the pitch celebrating
He'll be sadly missed by all his family and friends
