It was so sad to hear of the death of Joey who died today aged 70. Joey hadn't been in poor health for a few years but it is always sad to hear of the death of a nice person that you have known all your life
My brother Bryn went to Wrexham recently with Joey's brother Frankie and Mickey Thomas to see Joey and they all had a good catch up

Jones a 'fierce competitor and loveable character' He certainly was a great character and I remember when he scored his first goal for Liverpool FC he ran the whole length of the pitch celebrating
He'll be sadly missed by all his family and friends

JOEY JONES | Celebration of life details
A celebration of Joey Jones’ life will be held at the STōK Cae Ras on Wednesday August 20, at 12.30pm.
All at the Football Club were devastated to learn of the passing of our legendary former player and coach at the age of 70.
We would like to invite all supporters who wish to pay their respects to a man fittingly dubbed “Mr. Wrexham” to the celebration of his life.
