Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has tragically died at the age of 28
Liverpool FC star Diogo Jota, aged 28, has died following a road traffic accident, as reported by a local Spanish news outlet, according to the Mirror. Marca has reported that the Liverpool forward died after an accident in Zamora, Spain on Thursday morning.
Jota had recently married his long-term partner Rute Cardoso, whom he had been with since 2012. They share three children together and Jota had proposed to Rute back in July 2022, the Liverpool ECHO reports.
What a sad ending for such a young person and it just shows you how fragile life can be
