The Cambrian Rally is gearing up to celebrate its 70th anniversary with a challenging route.
Organised by the North Wales Car Club, this long-standing motorsport event is considered one of the longest-established in the UK.
It will host a number of championships including the British Rally Championship, the British Trials and Rally Drivers Association Championship, and the Welsh Rally Championship, amongst others.
The popular start and finish will once again be on Llandudno promenade, with Ruthin hosting the main service area.
Fans will be able to get close to the action from designated spectator zones on the competitive stages.
Over the years, the rally has attracted a large following and top competitors from the UK and abroad.
It has also caught the attention of the media, with the British Rally Championship covered on ITV4 for the second year running, and live TV coverage to be broadcast on online platforms.
However, the event is now looking for new sponsors after Visit Conwy announced it could not support the 2025 rally due to financial constraints.
Neil Coulson, chairman of the Cambrian Rally, said: "We are extremely grateful to Conwy County Council for their past support and understand the financial pressures they are facing.
"However, this now presents an exciting opportunity for new sponsors to get involved in one of the highest-profile motorsport events in Wales.
"The Cambrian Rally attracts worldwide media attention, making it a fantastic platform for businesses.
"There are numerous sponsorship opportunities available at affordable levels, offering excellent exposure."
Alyn Edwards, well-known in UK motorsport, has been appointed as the event's ambassador.
He is a former competitor and long-time member of the organising team, as well as the father of the three-time British Rally Champion, Matt Edwards.
Mr Coulson said: "It’s fantastic that Alyn has agreed to be an Ambassador for the Cambrian Rally.
"His experience and expertise are a huge asset, and we truly appreciate his continued involvement."
The event will also see a change in the Chief Marshal role following the departure of Paul 'Smiley' Jones, who stepped down due to other commitments.
"We extend our sincere thanks for his incredible dedication and hard work," said Mr Coulson.
Debby Goodband will take over as chief marshal.
She brings extensive experience in motorsport and event coordination, as well as a fresh perspective and a wealth of knowledge to the role.
Mr Coulson added: "We are gearing up to deliver a spectacular 70th Anniversary Cambrian Rally and look forward to welcoming competitors and spectators to experience the very best of stage rallying in North Wales."
