Title: Rupert Spencer of Llandudno Rotary in 1960s

Hello everyone

I was going to post this in the general "People" thread, but this seems to have petered out.

My late father was a frequent visitor to Llandudno, where he knew members of Round Table and (later) Rotary. I recall a family holiday to Llandudno in about 1973, where we encountered Rupert Spencer, whom Dad had met before. I recall this gentleman, who was "District Governor" for Rotary in 1961-2, and presumably President of Llandudno Rotary some time before that; he was very charming. I have always wondered what happened to him. I assume the worst has happened, as he would now be about 100.

Does anyone recall Mr Spencer?

Sadly, Rupert passed away some years ago.  He was very active in musical circles and did a lot with the musical players.  A keen opera fan as well.  A very nice gentleman but I have no idea what he did or what family he had.
