Yes, they can be elusive, but whilst the weather remains chilly I usually have a few goat visitors on the golf course during the early afternoon. If its sunny they appear to like going up the bank and enjoying a feed of brambles and having a warm at the same time.
I quite welcome them, they are no bother and don't leave much mess. Thats a damn sight more than I can say about sheep. The less I see of them the better, preferable as a lamb chop

try spreading mint sauce around the course, it might just keep them away, i,ve got some golf balls for you mike will drop them off soon.
