Sad news..
That comedy genius Norman Wisdom passed away today. :weeping: :weeping:
He was aged 95 and had been in poor health for some time.... he had been residing in a rrest home in the Isle of Man in his final years.
I think his films of the 1950's and 60's were fabulous in many ways.
I hope we get a re-run of ALL of them now.

Yes, it's amazing how many people still know his films, even today. They used to be a regular feature on BBC2 when I was a kid, my favourite was The Early Bird, in which he was the milkman in the small family dairy up against the massive dairy company:

I was sat beside Norman Wisom at a football match at Sunderland about 20 years ago.
My mate's son took one look at him, and realised he was in the presence of a very famous man, and we also chatted about him in the car on the way home.
But my mate's son wasn't noted for his intelligence, ...
So, when we next met he declared, ..''wasn't it great to meet the one and only...George Formby'' !!! L0L L0L L0L
