Sad to hear that Raymond Evans died earlier today in hospital at Manchester.  A local chartered accountant, (A A Thomas Evans & Co) he was for some years Deputy Launching Authority for Llandudno RNLI and local project officer for the proposed new lifeboat station.

I'm sorry to hear about Ray,  I met him a few times through work and he was a nice guy and we always had a good chat together.    My cousin Ray from Glan Conwy  was a close friend of his as were all of my cousin's family and they would often speak about Raymond.

Just heard that Ray's funeral will be on Tuesday, 25th August at 1.15pm in Glan Conwy church.
