How your scrap has helped raise ?12,000 for St David's Hospice
« on: February 11, 2024, 09:20:45 am »
This is the time of the year when many of us feel the urge to de-clutter and commence the annual Spring clean. To some it is a task to fear but fear no more as a Llandudno scrapyard will be able to help.

Arch Motors, based on Maesdu road, are appealing to residents to bring in any of their unwanted scrap ? which will then be turned into a charitable donation for St David?s Hospice, which offers free palliative care to adults and patients across North West Wales.

The initiative started in 2017, and since then has raised over ?12,000 for the hospice charity. Julie Gray, scrapyard manager was thrilled with the amount raised.

She said: ?We are very proud to be supporting the Hospice in this way. If anyone has any metal they would like to donate to this cause bring it in and we will make sure the money goes to the Hospice. We take any metal and our staff will weigh it for you.?
