We lived in the Peak District for many years before coming here. On this visit we were tourists and thoroughly enjoyed revisiting Buxton, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.
Here are a few pics of those two houses which looked stunning.

Great photos, I used to attend the Game Fair, at Chatsworth, as you say stunning, but I was always to busy to have a proper look around, my loss, thanks again.

We were staying with friends near Matlock in the week and one day we had a lovely walk which went past the most beautifully situated Dethick Church. I took this photo of three ladies enjoying their lunch there and it reminded me of a female version of "Last of the Summer Wine."
We also saw this lovely mock orange tree nearby.
