Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions?
-
Music without adverts please!
-
It would be nice to have radio without adverts, however, it is the way most of them make their income through sponsorship etc.
-
Don't know if anyone is interested but been told by the other half that he is doing a show tonight from 7.30pm UK time at www.musichutradio1.com (http://www.musichutradio1.com) They'll be no adverts on this show as not a fully fledged station yet, lol.

Ooops sorry 8pm not 7.30pm. ;D

Truly local radio in rural communities - providing an advocacy/consumer advice service for health and social care. D)

Years ago, as I was driving along I used to listen to Radio Isle of Man. It was a nice friendly radio station with middle of the road easy listening music.
Every so often though they used to stop the music and let you know of the obituary of one of the islanders and then carry on as if nothing had happened.
It was strange really when that happened but it was a community radio station after all.

The radio in my OH's classic car is the same age as the car and it tends to pick up Manx Radio quite alot!

Marc Willis is live at 2pm today and then 7pm www.musichutradio1.com (http://www.musichutradio1.com)
He does have to odd discussion about things every now and then. I think he may have a regular slot when the radio goes 24/7 for local chats. Why not e-mail and start one on one of his shows today. ;D

A good variety of music would be nice. Not keeping the same playlist for too long and not playing the same songs at the same time every day.....that drives me nuts!
